Position: RF Tool Engineer (Current Opening)
MAT, Inc. currently has positions available in our Plano, TX office for RF Tool Engineers. MAT, Inc is America's leading specialist in developing and managing value-added mobile services. The ideal candidates will be team players and have strong organizational, oral, and written skills. Must be self-motivated and have a strong sense of ownership of their duties, as well as, a commitment to quality service.

Day-to-day Duties Include:
• Mainly work in product management team and work with R&D team.
• Testing and features verification using MAT tools which support CDMA/EV-DO, UMTS/HSDPA, WiMAX/LTE).
• Post-process the mobile logs, analyze the air interface messages between the mobile phone and the base stations, analyze the RF and other important parameters, and compile call statistics (dropped calls, access failures, throughput, etc.)
• Provide technical support to the Business Development team in their pre-sales efforts, e.g. performing tool demonstration, responding to RFP, promoting new tools, etc.
• Work with the Product Development team that, among other things, will be evaluating the accuracy of the wireless test and measurement tools. Therefore the Wireless Engineer’s attention to detail is critical.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining test plan/case documentation, manually executing scenarios, documenting software defects, working with the Product Development team to resolve defects and verifying commercial software.
• Travel may be required, about 20% of the time.

Minimum Requirements:
• BS degree in engineering (prefer Electrical Engineering)
• Engineering experience in the wireless industry is a plus
• Computer Language Experience: C, C++, Java is a plus
• Android Platform Application Experience is Plus
• Knowledge of CDMA/EV-DO, UMTS/HSDPA, WIMAX and/or LTE is a plus
• Strong customer orientation and dedication
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (work well individually and as part of team)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Enjoy problem solving and approaches them analytically and methodically
• Eagerness to learn new technologies/skills
• Korean/English Bilingual required
